David G. Baland

David is a president of Old Town Advisors, which was founded in 2022. He has spent 30 years navigating his clients through market highs as well as a few economic crises and unprecedented situations.

David will carefully and critically examine the many market innovations, opportunities, and new products for suitability to our clients. As a hands‐on advisor, his advisory clients appreciate his discreet, unbiased fiduciary role. He is fiercely protective of his client's privacy and unmotivated by outside pressures.
After 30 years of serving his clients under an umbrella of a large‐firm structure, David is eager to bring them to the independent experience provided by Concurrent Investment Advisors, LLC. This move will allow the focus to be on the primary interests of the clients, and the committed advisors who serve them.

David received a degree in economics from New Mexico State University in 1991.  He is an outdoorsman and enjoys both the wild aspects of New Mexico as well as the luxuries. He appreciates the complexities of our state and its spirited residents. David, along with his wife Ann, an international oil and gas geologist, reside in the north valley of Albuquerque. David has served on the board of the New Mexico School for the Blind, which his daughter, Mollie, attended.
